Description
Backlighting is the idea of shining light at an object from behind, or lighting areas behind the object you want to highlight. You can photograph anything you want, but the use of backlighting to enhance the photo is key. Here's the catch: the subject must not become a silhouette because of the backlighting.
Disqualification Message: You must retain your original, unedited file (exactly as recorded by your camera), and provide it to the Site Council within 48 hours of any validation request. Files that have been saved or altered with any editing or transfer software are NOT originals.
