It's amazing how you can see the struggle on boy's face even in silhouette. :-) Great shot, Anita!

I am so pleased this did well! I loved this shot more for bringing a smile and tugging my heartstrings, reminiscing about my kiddies childhood than anything . It really is a fantastic shot!

Nice catch, comp, tonality, and action. Too bad about the halos.

MAGIC .. loving those little kids running in silhouette .. great shot .. :)

back to vote after voting on a heap of photos .. this is UP THERE .. :)
loving the energy .. and the dark clouds .. they make this even more awesome .. as they give a certain ominous quality to this image ... are they running to escape the coming storm .. are they just running for the joy of it ..
thats what i like .. not knowing .. :)

Coming back and commenting and I am bumping this one up to a 9 as 3rd look still makes me grin at the photo. So extra points for emotion feels! =)

Voted earlier coming back to comment.

Great silhouettes of these two children running and playing. The smaller child looks like they are really mustering all their speed in order to catch/tag the other one. Great action shot! I do think that there is a bit too much negative space with the clouds. Your main subject is the two children playing a game of catch-up so the attention should be keeping them in the spotlight. My suggestion is crop the top 1/3 off and to give it a widescreen movie still look that way it brings more attention to the main subjects. The widescreen view also would keep plenty of the wide open space so that we can clearly imagine these two children could 'keep on running' across the frame.
