This is the moment when the driver hopes that no deer or skonk will ever try to cross the road.
It'a a little melody of the road that you captured here

Sweeping light trails, a pin pricked sky, and the unknown down the road. Great composition and tones. Excellent!

Oh. I really don't like these taillights photos.

But... THERE! You've given me ROAD in the middle of taillights blur!

And then... you've given me more to follow after THAT!

THIS is why I no longer enter Free Studies.

Ha!

You've done it.

You've amazed me with a taillights image.

I thought it could no longer be done.

Hello from the critique club

An interesting image that contributes well to the challenge

You have every right to be pleased with your image Louis. There is good focus with plenty of detail. It must have been a very bright moon with f16 as your chosen aperture you still managed to get 1/100s, to be honest I think you could probably have made it a bit easier for yourself given the relatively flat focal plane f8 would probably have sufficed. I think you could have improved it post-processing with more contrast it is somewhat uniform tonally. Given that this is your first attempt at a moon shot it is a very good result, well done.

I love the night sky but the problem unless you are way out in the boonies, are power lines.

It looks more like the truck failed to stop! I’m not too sure how effective your image is at conveying the message of change, the need to fill up with fuel is still current even though this particular venue is not. We can see that time is taking its toll on this site and slowly helping it to deteriorate but the change is very slow. I think something that represents a more recent development that impacts everyday life would have been better, for example, a wind farm generating power. I like the mono conversion and particularly like the sky. Thanks for your entry Louis.
