Where only weed can survive...by hajekaComment: My eyes don't really know where to look in this image (no real focal point, I'm bouncing around everywhere). I look at the moss covered rocks and don't see the "harsh environment". I see the flourishing green and see how many organisms are able to survive. The wood is even worn away, probably from insects eating it.
I like your attempt at framing with the posts, but there just isn't a subject to frame which matches the challenge description. |

scorched earthby amnonComment: I'm sure people have said it already: too overprocessed, saturation, sharpening...it's overwhelming. Maybe it's because you have a poor camera, and that's alright. In that case, you have to rely heavily on a stunning composition, and unfortunately, this image doesn't have that either. Keep working on it. :) |

Imagine Choices Without Constraintsby njsabsComment: I like this image. I like the peaceful expression upon her face. I don't like how it appears she has some hunch protruding from her back; if the veil had had more of a peaceful flow behind her, this would have been a winning image. |

Distant Rainby in2truthComment: I like the attempt to divide the image into foreground and background diagonally, however I think this image lacks a solid focal point. If you could have made that rainbow pop a little more intensely, I think it would be a winning shot. |

Rain on my pondby bsluijkComment: Love this. The detail is incredibly subtle and the gentle curves make my eyes twist and turn back and forth in a melody. |

Waiting on Dinner to "Fly" Byby LydiaComment: There's a lot flying by in the image! I like the textures on the ground and the seeming movement of his front feet. The composition is a bit bland, a more solid decision of his position in the frame needs to be made in my opinion. |

Cheyanneby sammie2925Comment: A very intense gaze and really nice texture on the fringe of the cloak. I'm not completely sure whether I like the strand of hair in her face...I can see people loving or hating it. It does keep the viewer in the image, as a plus. |
