Learning about Dinosaurs through Hand Puppetsby namComment by roz: this totally brought a smile to my face .. the interaction between the adult and the child is wonderful .. also like the fact that the kids have the binoculars .. i got a pair for my grandson .. they are pretty cool .. if you look through them from the other end everything gets really small instead of big .. :)

Loess Bluffs NWR in the NW corner of Missouri. The snow geese migrate through late fall and early spring - spring (the birds think it's late February, I disagree) is the most impressive. It's not just a sight, it's an immersive experience. They had actually been at their peak about a week earlier than we were there this year because we'd had an unseasonably warm spell; when that happens, they don't hang around as long. But it's always worth going. |
