Suspect you were thought to be a cheater in your editing?
I have no idea why either.
This is a nice image, but perhaps a littlon the too soft side. Text/font used is a bit plain and a more feminine/italic style would look a little nicer in my opinion. (6)

Way too much light and fuzzyness. The ring is not sharp and out of focus. I think the Aperture is to blame here. Text is too present, takes away from the item. Frame is a bit claustrophobic on the item as well. 4

I'm not a fan of this diffused glow thats going on in some parts of the ring. The back bottom part blends right into the ground. I'd like to see a defined, crisp edge. The diamonds seem to be a bit out of focus too. Love the simplicity of the shot though, and I like the title. 6

I like the way you brought out the light of the stone without blowing out the rest of the image. Well done. The only nitpick I have is the burning is a bit obvious. Good luck in the challenge.
