A Perfect Endingby cherylogleComment: Great job. Your photo tells a story anyone can identify with... I do find myself distracted by all the stuff near the chin on the left-hand guy.... looks like he is wearing a neckbrace. Still worth a 7. |

Finalsby lemondsterComment: Terrific job. I think that cropping out the window frame would have kept your focus on you and the subjects on the desk. Still a 9. |

Jazz Silhouetteby dbensonComment: Boarder is too much.... I think its that pinstripe... very loud. I won't take off for your amazing photo based on my personal distaste for your boarder. 9. |

Engagedby cabaComment: Terrific photo and your imagination is astounding. I think it may have actually been stronger if you cropped out the space-neddle or stood on boxes so your head was closer in height to the space-neddle for the sake of balance. Photo rocks. 7. |

In the Darkby SJCarterComment: I think if the entire hand's silhoette where seen it would be a more interesting photo. Cigarette is a great touch. Slower shutter speed... say around 1/20th of a second on a tripod would have picked up more smoke but left youir subject sharp if he or she was not moving..... just my 2 cents. Nice pic. 6. |

By any other nameby dsa157Comment: Good choice on subject and title.... but.... Blur job is way overdone. I don't think this is a silhoette by the purest definition. |

Our Need To Communicateby SteveinnzComment: Good pic. Right time of day. Very cluttery... maybe that is what you were going for (i.e. Your Title). 7 at least.... I'll prolly revisit for the better later. |

Singled Outby dogzComment: Hmmm someone knows photoshop pretty well. I think you have exagerated the blur a little too much.
Here is a trick, to add more realism to blurred areas, add a little noise Filter>Noise>Add Noise. Only use 1 or 1.5 Try to match the niose level in your actual photo.
I did this same trick on a photo you can see in my profile called "Send 4 Help." |
