Sweet Pomegranateby grahamgatorComment: Lovely still life. Very nice how the roundness of the pomegranate is echoed by the bowl. In the spirit of friendly criticism, here are two subjective comments. As MaryO wrote, the echoing of the pomegranate red in the greenery lends the image a comfortable balance. However, the two shiny, bright clusters on the left seem out of character with the subdued mood of the background. Also, the metal spoon feels extraneous, not adding much to the photo. To reiterate, subjective. Perhaps you felt that something was needed for bottom weight, I don't know. |

late nightby PennyStreetComment: This is one of my favorites. I love the crisp detail and contrast. The scene thereby becomes a momentary insight, unbidden, powerful. |

Heavy Equipmentby HUETHComment: You can feel the grumbling in your stomach, a visceral moment. The cacophony of progress. |

Blah blah blahby NeatComment: Very nice image, not allowing color to intrude, especially with a spoonbill. Delicate composition. The expanding water rings echo the formality of sound.

Sorry Mr. Pibbsby tateComment: A perfect contrast of calm disdain and apoplectic frustration. Been there. Also like the contrast between the two mats and/or rug. That is, a 'meadow' of small flowers and a welter of frenetic design. Is the dog actually slobbering?

"Water will find its way..." : Salt Marsh in Autumnby Bear_MusicComment: Interesting melding of curve and straight line, they actually look comfortable together. And the outskirts, calm in its own nature. Fine composition, not quite balanced because of the slanted perspective, and more provocative for it. Nice title, modest and full. The colors are gorgeous, just wonderful. Who needs Faberge?
