An interesting idea that works to a degree. Whilst I would normally prefer mono, I suspect that this a very colourful character? There are two very distracting elements that spoil it for me, the main one being the background character that interferes with the main character in such a way that it detracts from what would have been a very strong figure. The other is the crop, the figure at the top should have been removed completely, again it detracts…

Cool perspective, and with all the struts and wires the eye is induced to move about attempting to make some sense of it. The central figure is striking, like a spider in its web. With so much form at play, it's a good choice to highlight that by going black and white.
