Congrats on the honorable mention and the new photo in your top 5 list. Nice work leaving no doubt in anyone's mind that this is all about the teeth.

Love the details and sharpness you've captured here. I can almost feel the texture of the fur through the picture. You even captured a bug in front of his/her face! (Although I doubt teeth are needed for that tiny creature. ;) ) I'm not usually fond of black and white for animals ... their colors are just too beautiful to pass up ... but here it adds realism and depth. It also prevents the color from detracting from those beautiful teeth. I can't offer an constructive feedback here ... this is amazing, especially for the challenge.

The challenge entered was a free study so anything goes... challenge met! :) You've brought a sense of drama to the portrait with the black & white approach. The details give the viewer much to look at. I love the smoke tendrils and the way he's only kind of looking toward the camera. (It's almost like there's a message in the smoke.) Eyes are certainly a window and this gentleman indeed looks thoughtful yet relaxed. I'm afraid I don't have much to offer in the way of constructive feedback ... the composition and focus look great. If I had to pick on something ... I think there's a little dust or something in the bottom left corner but that's so minor I hesitate to even type it.
