Golden Hourby Chris_AngComment by mariuca: I like the silhouettes a lot, like scattered little sculptures.
When I crop the top the image is becoming more powerful |

Tropidolaemus wagleriby Chris_AngComment by CNovack: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Wow! The level of details in the scales on the head of this snake is amazing! The colors and patterns on this coiled serpent is very bold and eye-catching too! |

Milky Way Templeby Chris_AngComment by Chris_Ang: Originally posted by CNovack: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Love how the line of the Milky Way seems to be coming out of the center tower of the temple. That said it is a good shot with great clarity and details seen on the Temple. The elements that detract from the two main subjects of the Temple and the Milky Way are the fence and the that light pole on the far right. Easy to remove the pole by cloning it out. The fence while I do understand why they have it there it would be wonderful if it was not in the composition. Hmm, well, I do see that it is a challenge to get it out of frame. Even if you crop just under the feet of the religious figure some of the fence remains on the end corners. My only other thought that *might* have worked is to have the camera higher on the tripod when doing the long exposure photo...in the very least it might have given more room under the Figures feet to crop the fence out of the frame. Aside from all that it certainly looks like an awesome place to see. |
Hi Novack, thank you for taking the time to writing such a detail critic, I really appreciated it.
This image taken with a 12mm Fisheye lens tilted to the night sky to capture the Milky Way which caused perspective distortion. In post process I used the Photoshop liquidfy tool to correct the distortions, but I didn't do a good job (the fences are not straight enough). Yes, agreed with you that I should have cloned the CCTV pole away.
Here's the original shot.
