Full Countby crabappl3Comment: Super! This is obviously >1:1 magnification... did you crop from a larger image? While I like your choice of DoF, I'm wondering if bringing the center of focus to the center of the seam would have made this even better? |

I love the lighitng; your exposure is spot on, and DoF is perfect.
Did you also try this in landscape (with eye of foremost mannequin at upper left "rule of thirds" point & a little neg. space at right)? |

Sam Houstonby jab119Comment: Nice intrepretation of the subject; the lighting just makes this shot for me. Did you provide the front and/or side lighting on the statue?
Only impovement I could imagine would be a little more of the front light on his head/face. |

Two Outs, Bottom of the Ninth by EddyGComment: Nice crop. Perfect use of DoF, retians the scoreboard as an element of the photo, not totally blurrred, but emphasizes the subject. Diffuse light is very nice. A sunny day would have been bad news for this shot! |
