The Shapes and Colors of Historyby TuckersmomComment: The tilted perspective may not be the most sympathetic treatment of this from an architectural detail point of view, although it is a visually striking image as a result. I do like the reflected spire. 6. |

Columnsby JesuispeureComment: I think these columns are not flattered by the wild tilt, nor by the peripheral distortion. I realise, of course, that both effects were intentional, but they just don't work for me. Sorry. 4. |

Main Street Stationby A VaryaComment: I'm afraid I don't think this tilted perspective works as well as a more conventional approach. This is a stately, even ponderous building and, just like a similarly proportioned mature woman, appears alarming when tipped over. 5. |

Franklin Field Archesby jmleliiComment: Very nice composition and an effective tribute to this fine arched walkway. I like the fact that you were not tempted to crop off the tops of the first two arches, to avoid the two "see through" fragments. They add to the interest. 7. |

Neo-Romanby AzrifelComment: Appealing composition, but the shadow severely diminishes the impact. I'd have scored it higher otherwise. Perhaps there's no time here with full, suitable light? 5. |

Stone Swirlby edc1Comment: Nice architectural detail, with enough of the greater building to give it both scale and context. 6. |

Three Views to Reflect Uponby jemisonComment: It has the feel of a fine drawing, or an elaborate pre-computer architectural elevation (not counting the interesting reflections, of course; pre-computer architects weren't that whimsical). 6. |

A building of two halvesby tazzaComment: Neither of which should ever have been constructed. Happily, your photo is a bit better than the building. 5. |
