I predict this will score high. It's a very eye-catching image; strikingly composed & exploiting an arresting colour; looks good even as a thumbnail. The ideal DPC entry. My only minor quibble is that the facelessness is unmotivated ... it satisfies the challenge but doesn't challenge the viewer. 7

This is a very subtle interpretation of the challenge; superficially it's just a guy facing the other way. But given what he's doing, plus the title you've chosen, I figure you also meant "faceless" in another sense entirely. Which lifts this simple image up the order, for me. Nice. 7

I don't understand the title, but the image is unusual and sure grabbed my attention. The bare feet make the contorted pose work (sounds like a weird comment, I know, but try covering them up ... the impact is gone). 7

Only a slightly sick mind could think to justify the mask by using knitting! Wonderful, mad idea worthy of Spike Milligan. Nice nails. 7

This is cleverly conceived and beautifully executed. It looks just a bit TOO slick and professional (like a billboard shot) to appeal to me from an artistic point of view, but it's sure a visually striking photograph & will rate very high. 7

Pretty good. I think having a reason for the averted or obscured face makes all the difference, in terms of satisfying the spirit of this challenge. Very few entries have any reason at all. 8

This is very thoughtful ... a simple idea executed effectively. Well composed, especially for the point you're making. 7

That's brilliant! A guy who sells booze AND weapons. Such a wonderfully absurd European idea. Alas, I'm afraid the photo only rates 5 with me, it's an OK shot I guess, but the "faceless" element is nothing more than an accident in this scene ... I think it should have some artistic justification. Sorry.

This is very nice. Unlike the many entries where the face just happens to be turned away, this one has a reason, which to me makes all the difference. Especially like the depth of field used because it makes the photo even more "on challenge". Great title, but the image works even without it; no small achievement for this awkward challenge subject. 8
P.S. Second look ... This photo is very instructive; you don't need a breathtaking or bizarre subject to produce a high-quality challenge entry, just a clever idea elegantly executed. My own entry was a contrived load of rubbish. Lesson learned!

If all you're going to do to satisfy this challenge is to turn the face away, it had better be done very well. This one is executed beautifully. I've rated a few higher because they incorporated an artistically sound reason for the face to be obscured, but this image makes my picks just because it is so visually and technically strong. Especially like the presence of a glimpse of right ear. 7
