I love seeing your pictures of this man, so dear to you. And your pictures of Anil. One's a joyous love, the other's a tragic love, and I thank you confronting for both sides of love with your characteristic light but indelible touch.

Thank you as well for the great fun and interest of the November square exhibition. Alas, I lost traction a bit over half way through (various excuses, mostly feeble), but I greatly enjoyed being part of this liberated and unselfconscious company for a while.

I should never read the other comments before commenting myself. All I see now is that flute player. No, wait, I see more. A trombone dangles into the dark side of the scene. It's quite musical, really. Thank you. And thanks for making the November square exhibition fun and interesting.

Yes a judge. So the new judge asks the retiring judge, "How much do you give a ponce?" And the retiring judge says .....

Do you know that old but wonderful judicial joke? If not, look for it online to see the fabulous punch line.

Thanks for being a fun collaborator in this side exhibition.

That's the case here where the statue became what you wanted it to express.

I object strongly when they are photographed "in perfect light" to see it in all details, removed from any context and ready to be plopped in a catalogue.

That's what I have always wanted to say about photographs of statues, but until now I could never think of how to say it. Thank you.

She is riding backwards (i calculate this from the order presented). But the bloke with the umbrella registers no movement. One of them is an alien time traveller. Thank you.

Cool. In the sense of beat generation cool. Some mumbling bearded hepcat will write a baffling and sans-denouement story around this photograph. Oh, wait ... one has. See below.

Thank you (both, man)

It's weird, is it not (I refer to your Photographer's Comments)? I have that same fascination for what happens when you have no conscious preparation at all. It's the same old drum I have beaten for years: the photograph is much more than mere photography. I frequently make a memorable omelette without being conscious of being in the kitchen with a purpose. I also frequently make a hash of a meticulously-followed recipe that is all about cheffy-ness. Cooking is about memorable food. Photography is about photographs. That's why we love offhand omelettes like this. Thank you.

Your effortless skill makes me admire photographs from the genre in which I have no interest. You must have a very good camera. Thank you.
