I'd like to see half the "photographers" (more like GWC's) that placed before me try something like this. I'm not sure why I continue to punish myself by entering knowing full well the BS that goes on with DPC voting. My respect goes out to a few that placed in this challenge and the rest of you box shooters... well I think you know where I stand on that matter.

Wow! Having read what the challenge required, you're the only one acting like an A-hole. The challenge requirements were quite clear and you failed to meet them or even come close.

What he said, Nick. I for one never ever deliberately vote down others shots in the stupid and vain hope that it will make my score rise - cause it doesn't work! They get scrubbed! Give out worthwhile scores/comments, get the same back.

Or are you just p.o.'d that you and your experience and big-ass lens and camera combined can't beat people with beginner-level DSLRs? Am I one of the recipients of your spiteful little 2s? I am very, very hard-pressed to ever give out anything less than a 4.

And the whole thing with Jdubsgirl...pitiful. Truly.

If you don't enjoy photography, and are still sooo delicate and precious that you can't accept criticism, then dpc will be all the richer for your departure.

I don't get it. The challenge seemed to me be one about barely holding on. would creat some type of anxiety. I don't get much of this feeling from this shot. Tech wise, the shot looks like a snap shot taken from a point and shoot.

Take a picture of something that you could use the statement "That's hanging on by a thread". Actual thread should not be used.

Here let me spell it out for you okay. See the water bag? See that it's attached by a cable (cable could also be a string) See that it's hanging on to the helicopter? Note the word HANGING? If you put these two things together you have something like "Hanging by a Thread" Looks pretty friggin close to me as far as meeting the challenge don't you think? I really don't know why I even bother sometimes.

I'd love to see the comments you two made on more than 2/3 of the shots entered.
