There's a litte too much detail in the front of the buidlings for a higher score. 5

Comment by Rankles:
The sun is a little overpowering, but it is more original thatn the 350 shots of leaves so it gets a boost and fits the challenge well enough.

Very interesting use of the sunlight. I like it but not so sure about all that bright.

He's still for sure! Other then that it is a little stretch on the topic IMHO. Technically a good photo though.

Nice idea, sharpness, DOF. IMHO, you something more, incorporating a real chamaeleon or even a lizard of any kind would make the image.

Nice twist on the topic, my only comment is that she left her glasses on, it would look better without the glare.

Mmm...Pie

Mmm...Pie
by Commando303

Comment by dahkota:
While the pie does look good, I think this image suffers from poor presentation. The subject is centered and full frame with slightly odd lighting, leaving the image flat and static. Background may play a large part here - a more apetite inducing background, say red or yellow, even blue maybe, would induce a viewer to want to eat. Currently, both in texture and tone, the background competes with the pie. You've done a good job of capturing the food itself - not an easy task which is why I rarely try. But I think you need a little more: a glass of milk, a fork, a slightly wider viewpoint, to make this image really pop. 5 - good luck in the challenge!

Nice sense of the line of traffic and the arrested motion of pedestrians; high to low perspective limits the extent of one's gaze though
