Thank you for the kind words, we were actually able to see this pack of wolves 2 out of the first 3 days we were in the park. The first day 7 of the 18 were finishing off a bison kill from the day before. this picture is from the 3rd day where they had killed an elk the day before. This wolf is the only one that could be seen, but we could here more of the pack in the woods not far away. We were put into a spot by the park rangers that was my guess way to close. It didn't seem to worried about us, only this one time did it look in our direction.

I was going to do this exact same picture. I am wondering if it is the same place. Orlando Wetlands Park, if it is its only 10 minutes from me and someplace that I go a lot.

Skye is a beautiful collie. He looks in the face a lot like my "Mac", but Mac has a lot of Mahogany color in his fur. I love to watch him run and all the fur flowing in the wind. I always think everyone should have a collie, such wonderful animals, with great personalities. He hardly ever leaves my side, going where ever I go. Hope to see more of Skye.

And did you use a trigger to take the picture (vs hitting the shutter button yourself).

You have the slightest of movement in the capture...otherwise this could really be a stunning shot.

You must live close to Downtown...

I did use a tri-pod and a wired trigger, I do admit I am not sure what VR is though. I work near downtown and was passing through. It was a picture that I had been wanting to take, and I thought that the night was right for it. This was my first attempt at night photography. I was pretty happy with it. Now if I could do as well on my others. I am not sure if I need to upgrade lenses or if my issues are more on the processing area. I have been trying to figure out what lens to get next.

I'm so happy with this, I haven't been back posting pics for very long and this is my first top ten. I need to keep working to get better at my picture taking though.
