Macro-Microby bjoernComment by JMart: There are some nice triangles here. I really like the way you composed this shot. I contemplated shooting a mic of mine the other day, but it had too many dents :( |

Macro-Microby bjoernComment by slaakso: This is a great macro of a microphone. The shapes and POV combined with the DOF is wonderful. What, no Karaoke track to listen to while viewing? |

Macro-Microby bjoernComment by Arcanist: Micro...phone eh? Got one of these lying around. Should dig it out and try my own hand. Love the DOF choice. My Pref: Should be neat imaged heavily to remove any grain/noise in the shadowed background and then sharpened to a hard pop. (USM and Highpass). Great crop. |

Timeby bjoernComment by Arcanist: Love this image. Caught my eye when looking at your profile. Would love to see a deeper saturation of colors here and a highpass. I think it would have scored much higher and should have even as it is now. |

Macro-Microby bjoernComment by hajeka: Just wondering what this is? Something for tea? I like the textures. Subtle light on the metal.
You shouldn't worry to much about the white balance in the camera. Take a gray card or a WhiBal as reference, shoot in RAW (if possible), and adjust the WB afterwards (but don't use auto WB when you do it this way). Think this macro could use a B&W conversion and a square crop. |
