I just got into crochet, and must admit, this photo has so much more meaning now, lol. I want yarn, just to have it. So far I've only made a frog hat from a kit I bought, but I'm working on my first baby blanket from a pattern I made myself. So much yarn to choose from!

It appears that the eye was selected and modified. Your masking is a bit rough. I would suggest adding a little feather to your selection before modifying the selection. I can explain better if you're interested and I know what tools you're working with.

I guess those are less "mailboxes" and more "mailbuckets". As I sat and looked at this photo, I admired these buckets at first, but the more I look at them, I have to wonder how short people get their mail.

As for the photo, I like the processing and the leading lines.

I loved this at first, but then because I liked it so much, I kept looking. What's going on with the big circles? There's a couple on the background on the right side of the photo and another couple going across his right bicep/shoulder just under the coat. They're perfectly round at least in part, so they seem like something that may have been done in post? A dodge/burn brush perhaps?
