Aboveby Alex_PetriniComment: Woah, what a vista! I really like your composition and tonal control, but on the uncalibrated laptop I am viewing on, the image looks rather flat and lacking in depth and contrast - I won't vote now, but will re-evaluate when I get the chance to look on my calibrated monitor.
Edit: Much more depth and contrast on the calibrated monitor :) 8. |

Little meby mariucaComment: Oh, what a sweet photo, that so perfectly illustrates the sleepy, weary, times of childhood. Nicely captured. |

Berry Goodby cloudsmeComment: Are those berries really that colour? I've never seen anything like them - and have to own, I find my brain fighting with the colour. A cute capture, sharp in all the places it needs to be, and good exposure across the full tonal range. |

Pioneerby GeneralEComment: Composing with the single flower broadly on the third was a good move, and the title is inspired. Despite that, though, there just isn't enough to hold my interest beyond an initial glance.
I've just glanced up the page while writing this comment, and see the photo afresh, cropped from the top, and I personally prefer that - when presented with the square image the eye is drawn to the brighter foliage at the top of the photo which gives a bit of tension. |

Jayby spydrComment: Oh nice! The positioning of the acorn in the beak could ot be more perfect even if it was stage-managed. My only (tiny) criticism is the bright patch in the background above the beak. I do think that the image could cope with a bit more sharpening for display at this size, the slight softness certainly isn't a focus issue. I also wonder whether a run through Topaz deNoise would help. All that said, I really like this. 7 |

Happy Halloweenby GeorgesBogaertComment: Perfect title! The second girl in looks as though she would rather be anywhere else! The backdrop works well for your subject, but the lighting doesn't work for you, and the image does have the feel of a quickly grabbed snap shot. |

Different angleby toutoungiComment: That is different - and I appreciate having my viewing experience stretched and challenged. There is something quite futuristic about this image, in a sci fi, dystopian, cinematic way. |
