Hey, I know that shoehorn :)

See you can "shoehorn" something and get a reasonable score :)

No, really, I thought it was a cup on a miniture golf course, so well-done.

Ethereal, fairy-like, mystical, fantasy-esque, melancholy with a hint of hope, soft yet not "frou-ffy." Well designed and captured presentation of this story. If I were a betting woman, I'd say this was Judi. So if you're not Judi you just got a great compliment...well even if you are Judi you just got a great compliment.

Extremely, well done! Nice "darkness" as the story is dark. But that blue just pops. Looking forward to the explanation of how you did this.

I read this story and there is no girl...except the princess and she wasn't looking to find out what fear was. That being said, I love this shot too much to let a little thing like that get in the way.

As all Grimms' tales are dark & forboding, so is this shot. You have captured a fantasy-like feeling with the long exposure and the b&w presentation. I saw this and I said "Wow!" Only 3 shots got that response from me.

My only thing is that it is tough to distinguish her head from the rock, but that is minor.

I love the green eyes against the reds of the lips and cape. The fly-away hair adds some extra dimension. My only thoughts are that the soft-focus, and the straight on shot makes it a bit difficult to differentiate her jaw line from her neck. But that is a minor thing...imho, as this is one of the stellar shots in the bunch.

There is an interesting quality here. There is the obvious intensity of the owl, but there is a bit of underlying humor...almost as if you caught him off-guard. Nicely done.

My first thought when I saw this..."this could be a painting."

Eveything here is time period specific and it all fits. Colors, lighting, emotion all are perfect for a Grimm tale.

This is obviously Cinderella at the beginning of her life with her step-mother.

I personally love this. You can tell the emotions of the children, the composition is fantastic. but you went the extra step, and it is fabulous. The way that you have processed the background trees gives this shot a mythical, "fairy" quality. It communicates that this is fantasy, not reality. But even better than that, you left the front alone which emphasizes the fact that the children are your subjects.

Well done!

Extremely well captured nature shot. The atonalities are wonderful. The dof is perfect. The framing of this animal by the branches. Good job portraying a difficult fairy tale.
