BC Shot at Goalby bobnospumComment by sidpixel: Hello from the critique club
An appealing image that contributes well to the challenge
Ah, well done Bob another great action shot from the same match! It tells it all, how intent the striker is to get that goal, the defenders determination to prevent it and the goalie's preparedness for the shot itself. I don't know if she scored but from this angle there doesn't seem much space left! As your commenter stated it has definite sports news potential. I feel I've got a stake in this game, from your two images it looks as though the Eagles should have won? |

An appealing image that meets the challenge
A great action shot that conveys a feeling of speed and determined concentration to get the ball in that goal. The timing is good with both her feet and the ball off the ground, its all very dynamic. The DOF is good showing good detail in the players at the back of the field and isolating Eagles 1 from the other players. Thanks for a well-captured action shot Bob. |

Single Twin Lightby bobnospumComment by Teafran: Very emotionally evocative - a lone signal on a lonely shore - kind of begs for a "dark and stormy night" bad sentence entry. :) |

Lobster Dinner near Motif #1by bobnospumComment by sidpixel: Hello from the critique club
An interesting image that contributes to the challenge well
An opportune moment captured, what an ideal setting for such a meal. I like your composition, the two people and their meal are the focal point but we are also able to see the lovely location which is contributing well to their overall experience. I don't know whether its my screen but there feels a reddish hue to everything, if not then a little tweaking with the white balance wouldn't go amiss. As far as the major cloning is concerned you must have made a cracking good job of it because its not all evident to me. Well done Bob for this lovely entry |

Lobster Dinner near Motif #1by bobnospumComment by Teafran: I've seen a lot of pictures of Rockport over the years - even have taken my fair share, but this is the first time I've seen something like this. Nice out of the box thinking and capture. |
