The First Highby mbrutus2009Comment by pamb: (voted earlier, coming back to comment)
My team and I were marveling at the dearth of comments in this challenge so I thought I would at least attempt to correct that a little:
I was expecting someone to do an image like this one. I've always wondered why people over dramatise by putting in extra pill bottles etc. I don't know that an image that could be this powerful needs the extra props. |

Take a seat! by mbrutus2009Comment by CNovack: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Lighting, color, and angle of the composition are fabulous. The line up of adirondack chairs from near to far leads the eye to those two in the backdrop that do indeed invite the viewer to 'take a seat'. Those rich reds of the Adirondacks really pops off of the white walls of the house. The inclusion of the window in the frame is a nice touch because the reflection shows me the greenery that surrounds the outdoors. Taking a seat on this deck promises both relaxation and a nice view of nature to boot. |

Take a seat! by mbrutus2009Comment by Denielle: Love the reds agains the whites. The pop of color in the window (greens). Also, I like the red line in the border; seems to tie the picture together even better.
Not sure if I like the blurred chair in the bottom right corner of the picture or not.
But overall, very nice image.

Take a seat! by mbrutus2009Comment by Neat: The front seat is so distracting, not sure why you didn't move it and photograph just the two on the wall, unless this wasn't your house. Would of been a great shot if you did so. |
