I prefer to keep abstracts abstract. Your title gave it away! As the majority of the image is red, I'm not really seeing the 'pop'.

As for the photo itself... it lacks artistic interest in my opinion. It kind of feels like a standard documentation-for-insurance-purposes kind of photo.

The muted colours make this scene look... real! hah. I'm so used to the eye candy saturation around here, this is a fresh change. Unfortunately, the composition doesn't do much for me. You hid away your pop of red a bit too much to the point where it barely has an impact on the photo.

I like this photo. Nice scene and a beautiful sunset. In my opinion, this doesn't really fit with a 'pop' of red as it spills throughout the scene.
