Not familiar with lomography? Click here!... Or here!

Found these rules on the internet, and thought they were kinda fun. They really could apply to any kind of photography.

1. Take your LOMO everywhere you go & whenever you go.
2. Use it anytime ΓΆ€” day or night.
3. Lomography is not an interference in your life, but a part of it.
4. Shoot from the hip.
5. Approach the objects of your lomographic desire as close as possible.
6. Don't think.
7. Be fast.
8. You don't have to know beforehand what you've captured on film.
9. You don't have to know afterwards, either.
10. Don't worry about the rules.

i just bought a jack white white stripes edition on the holga because i loved the white stripes, but then i realized how amazing this camera is and it changed my life
so what i'm wondering is
what does "shoot from the hip" really mean?

Dont use the view finder, just kind of point and click and see what happens.
