Hello, Out There, All You Sociology Buffs! It's time for another excursion into the World of Communication whose capital is "Beg Pardon?"
The following riddle has become legendary in the U.S. South (i.e. Virginia around the bend to Mississippi, excluding Florida...Sorry, Guys,...but you know.)
Southerners are know for having having egos almost as big as a Texan's ego (I should know, I am a Texan.) Bear that in mind as I tell you about the conversation between two farmers (one a Georgia resident and one an Alabama resident) about the correct classification of livestock.
A: "M R Pigs!"
G: "No, M R not Pigs!"
A: "O S A R Pigs!"
G: "L I B, M R Pigs! O K, I C! U C My Cows?"
A: "No, Cows, I C! M R Excuses!"
G: "O S A R Cows!
A: "L I B, M R Cows!"
G: Finally, Thank You!
(Request: Iffen you are Southern, Please keep your cows in the barn fer a little while before they eat up all the grass of investigation & before all the other 'uns can git a chanch to graze. Thanky!)

LOL This thread was started about one year ago, almost precisely the way it just started, with the same quote about which states don't count.... I remember the most useless things :P Uhmmm was it Southern Gent who started it last?
