Hmmm....it seems you have displayed the image for the 5D for HER and the specs for the mystical 7D....not the 5D, which are as follows -
The 5D II

* Single Digic III Processor
* ISO 100-3200 (Low: 50 + High 6400)
* 6-8 fps - depending on grip

* 11 point AF
* AF Microadjustment
* Liveview (as per 1000D)
* 35 Zone Metering
* Viewfinder: 96 percent coverage .72 magnification
* Pop up flash
* New Lithium Ion Battery
* Weather Sealing slightly better than 40D

Now that... is some funny stuff. I think if they made a camo version it would go over well with the wildlife photographers. I know I'd buy a camera with a clear case for the cool factor. |

At several Canon press conferences around the world (26/08/2008), some Canon staff clearly said that another DSLR will be announced this year, and others said that two new DSLR will be announced soon.
I̢۪m pretty sure that they are talking about the upgrade to the 5D, but it̢۪s strange that some mention one and others are mention two DSLR. Could that mean one DSLR with two versions (One For Him and One For Her)?
A pinkie DSLR it isn̢۪t a so crazy product like it looks at first sight, and I̢۪m sure it̢۪ll bring some fun to a session shoot and great style to some beautiful photograp(her)s ;)
These Marketing Departments are always trying to sell the same product as if it was a different one. Well, we̢۪ll see soon...
I've been in the waiting list for long time now. I really need to upgrade my 20D with an accurate, low noise and faster DSLR so I can create accurate, low noise and faster crap.

Hey - I'm with you all the way on that one - currently when I shoot cr*p it takes me waaay too long :- )
edit to add - I did hope when you said '5D mkII for her' that it would be a smaller lighter 5D. I wish the weight wouldn't keep creeping up with every new version. No problem if you do studio shot's but wandering about carrying your camera and a big lens sure gets tiring : (
