I was starting to approach getting close to 6, but I just got a 3, so I'm back where I started this morning. It's kinda like that math problem in elementary school: a snail slowly inches his way up the side of a well--he can go about 4 inches up a day, but then slides down 3 inches at night. It the well is 20" tall....

ooh, ooh, maybe it's not your picture. Maybe the voters are being really harsh and we'll all go up a full point in the next day or so! I'm just going to sit and dream about that for awhile--wouldn't that be awesome? the placements would still work out the same, but we'd all have a full point higher on the votes...

Well, when I submitted it, I didn't expect a high score, so I guess it's kinda what I expected. So with that - I suppose because I didn't put my heart and soul on getting a high score, I'm not disappointed! :D

I need to stop turning in photos 20 minutes before the deadline. My first entry was in the top 15. Now I can't seem to even break the six mark. My score just plummeted to 5.0000. Man am I depressed.

yep you're in the cool 6 club then even if u only get like 66 votes or a 6 somewhere in the numbers like 106 views lol

It's easier to start out low, than to start out high -- there are just some types of challenges that you're going to be better at. Actually, your high contrast photo was quite cool -- it's just going to appeal to a smaller group of people. But all in all, I think it's more artistic than your ground up, IMHO. Who knows, maybe it's the same with your "from above"...?

ok voters don't be afraid to use those 7-10 numbers on your screen they wont bite or hurt you.... really... your keyboard wont eat your hand up if you use them i can -almost- guarantee it.... tho i wont cuz if it does well that's just dumb luck lol....
