Today the Journey starts for a brave little baby Penguin, A journey across the World. I did not include any kind of media pen or flash card because my friend on Customs said we may have trouble and delays with customs issues so please post the pictures you take to your folder on SugarSync Please make them JPG only and make them 1000x800 for the book plan should it all work out nicely.

Thank you for the great response we have 80 likes on Facebook now and growing, when the journey starts I expect it to improve. Initially this is a bit of FUN that we may be able to convert into a book for the Children in Need charity. I will contact them shortly to let them know what we are all doing.

If you have not signed up to the SugarSync then please do so BEFORE you get LOST. This is a way to keep track of him and make sure he don't actually get LOST for real. If your name is not in BOLD below please make sure you submit your email address before your turn. Anyone not in bold by then will have to be skipped for the sake of LOST ...

Once again, thanks for the support on this madness journey, I cannot wait to start seeing the progress.

One question/suggestion: Should we make a calendar so that we have an idea when Lost will be arriving? I was thinking that the shipping times between countries probably varies a bit - especially for those longer international deliveries. Was the idea that we should host Lost for approx 1 week after arrival and then send him on his way?

Excellent idea, if you have any way to put up a google calendar and have the time, please do it, I think that would be an excellent way of keeping track, after all, we don't want him to get lost again :)

I think 1 week of ownership gives people time to get out with Lost at least once and get some pics done.. Im sure Lost will enjoy a relaxing stay too.

As the weekend is the only time I have sensible amounts of daylight available, he should be on his way to Tiny on the following Monday.

If this is going to end up as a charitable enterprise, maybe you can get some free shipping donated by one of the courier services ...

Sadly UK is so tight at the moment they wouldn't give you the smell off their feet.
Might work in the USA though ....

Those on the list please contact tome and get yourself on the list at sugarsync. with all the new people joining I think we can limit the time lost stays with you to a MAX of 4 days please otherwise this will get LONG and may fizzle out and we don't want that to happen.

Thank you so much to those who are making this work.
