Remember it's harder to get hold of guns over there -- he'll just have to overwhelm people with herring-breath ... :-)

I think is more likely that he'll bide his time as he might be a fifth columnist member of a certain South Atlantic faction: Falklands penguins bide their time (This is a Daily Mash article. You have been warned.)

Lost spent yesterday afternoon supervising some DIY. We had been meaning to put up a new house number for a while. Lost ensured that the job was done properly . He spent the evening ensconced in front of the telly watching the 6 nations rugby. He had clearly enjoyed himself in Wales because he supported the winning side - the less said about that the better... .

I seem to recall that the wrestling organization took the World Wildlife Federation to court over the use of the term WWF and they lost. :O)

Sara, I took a peek at your portfolio images of lost's time with you. Great pics of him at the minster and other historical sites. Thanks.

As we worked out that Lost would not arrive in Finland before Monday 25, and salmiakki will be travelling in that week, he's coming to me first. I've a nasty feeling he won't be here in time for me to take him on a road trip to Sweden, but he should get the other end of the week at least. I presume he's fluent in Welsh now - should we tutor in language as a matter of course?

Maybe he can take along a collection of postcards with a greeting in the local language ... there should be plenty of room in his suitcase since he's wearing his only tuxedo ... :-)

All gone pear-shaped, sorry. I left for Sweden Monday morning - nothing at the local post office. Returned today too late to pick up what is there and Norway piously has a national holiday both on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, so Lost will not be found until Saturday. I'll crack out a couple of snaps then and send him on, poor lamb.

Poor thing does spend a lot of his time at the post office waiting collection! Glad that he has eventually arrived, but a shame he didn't make it in time for your trip to Sweden.

For once, we have had even more snow than Scandinavia. I was over in Wensleydale at the weekend, and some of the drifts were 8'! Quite a few of the villages are completely cut off.

Oh dear...

from pear-shape through unscheduled metamorphosis and threatening serious mutation - let's not speak of the devil...

It turns out the Post Office is closed all through Easter so the first chance would be Tuesday. Worse still, it looks as though the thing waiting there is not Lost but some other item...

I'm sure it'll all come good, but I jumped the queue to try to hurry things along and it seems to have had the opposite effect. My apologies.
