Allegory, no description. the best challenge ever. Special rule: no discussion allowed in the forums, either...

So you'd be in favor of SC locking threads and/or hiding posts that tried to discuss the concept "allegory" until the challenge is finished? Out of curiosity, should that start NOW, since there's no telling when the challenge will actually be scheduled?

or was he speaking allegorically? how do we tell?

Would crocadory work for this too?

Or only allegory?

I do like some good allegory boots.

But, I think crocadory boots are endangered.

And... There's an ellipsis in the challenge description.

Life is good, even when it's not.

So, to summarize:
- In order to avoid anyone thinking differently entering challenges, we add yellow flags with DQ threats
- In order to avoid anyone editing differently entering challenges, when someone comes up with a great topic (Georges in that case), and wants it to be ran under more open rules, we alter his idea, without any consideration for his original thoughts

Is this really what we want for DPC to be? A place where diversity is forbidden? If so, there's no much surprise if less and less people choose to stay here, let alone join the community.

to be fair, there is no flag on this one.
And that was not the SC's idea (to not allow forum chatter).
12/07/2015 10:00:23 AM · #23
I am out of this one, I have no clue to what this is even referring with or knowing how to shoot for the challenge, Totally not understanding this.
may the force be with you all!

Forbidding comments is a surprise. No, wait, it feels like a Last Straw. Who died & made Posthumous King?
