For the purpose of this challenge, "wildlife" should be considered non-domesticated mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians living in a natural environment. Now that you know what to photograph, take your best shot! Absolutely not zoo shots

Flagged ~ DQ for Zoo Captures

As a wildlife photographer I would rather it not be a hidden gem challenge.

here's hoping it gets picked!!!

I'd also prefer current vs hidden gem...The baby on is enough.

I was so looking forward to shooting for this challenge because wildlife is my main area of interest. Now that I have submitted my photograph for the challenge I can't wait for voting to start. Needless to say I am really excited about this challenge.

I have about 12 different images I could enter, sure hope I picked the right one.

hope the 'no zoo critters' rule is enforced!

It is not a "rule" and it's not enforceable. It's up to the voters to choose what best portrays "wildlife" to them. SC is not going to put itself in the position of having to dtermine whether or not a shot was made in a zoo, in an animal park, or in the wilderness. Just too much grey area.

That grey is concrete, dontcha know... that's how you tell it's a zoo critter!

This is getting right on the edge of "telling people how to vote" on a challenge. I am going to hide a couple posts on basic principles, people.

Yeah, you're right :-( Sloppy of me. Even so, I think the posts are a tad too pushy so they will stay hidden. Off to fix my post now.
