My condolences to you and your family, Nick and enjoy the memories. They last a long time.

Each spring I notice how some plant's new growth will evoke a memory of a family member or friend, especially if the plant began its life in my garden as a result of a cutting from their garden, or conversely if I had previously divided that plant to share with friends.

I'm trying to work up a challenge description that makes clear what we're talking about without being too limiting. How does the following sound?

Remembering

We've all lost someone close to us, and we all have our ways of remembering. Often physical objects, certain places, specific songs, etc become talismans that bring our memories to the surface. Try to show us this in a photograph.
