Put together something that looks like a single page of a comic book. It doesn't need to be an existing comic book.

Extended Editing.

sometimes I think that is all I do.

Or maybe just a comic strip... not a whole page?

+1...a whole page of panels would be an awful lot of work. A single one-panel comic, ie the Far Side, would do me fine.

oh. I was just thinking a single frame, as in cartoon. well, they say pigeons can count to three.

That would be a really fun re-do to enter and to view!

I like my original idea but there are several challenge suggestions in this thread to be considered.

+1 for the original suggestion.

Glad to see that this is now a challenge, but wondering if it isn't too late to ask that we be allowed to use images from our own archives?

I'll go out on a limb and say that the horse has left the barn. So, no.

But, a comic strip would be fine, right? Doesn't have to be a whole page, right?

If there's a page of images, with the 1200 pixel limit, we won't be able to see the comic, I fear...

I wouldn't vote down a strip. But generally speaking, I will be in a good mood when I vote this challenge! :D

There are plenty of single-panel comic book pages out there, and any of gyaban's images proves that you can tell a whole tale in 1200 pixels. Yes it's a helluvalot of work, but doable. It would be more of a daunting task to undertake multiple panels, but so long as the imagery is strong (and probably not too verbose, word balloons and similar eat up a lot of space).

So any comic... no matter the "panes" amount?

Sure, why not? Gary Larson rarely ever did more than one pane. A lot of Family Circus was only one panel. So was Ziggy, which you may have to google.
