Anyone either using or planning to upgrade to the (FINALLY!) Full-Frame Pentax K-1?

It's my goal for next summer, but I'd like to hear from people that are or will be using it before then.
Not sure if they'll have an updated or newer full-frame before then either, but I can't find any news on anything.

We're dwindling, us Pentaxers, but I wish we weren't. The system is better than ever and Pentax is life. :)

No upgrades for me. Hard enough to get inspiration enough to shoot much as it is.

because of the weight, not; but the price is super gentle. thinking of switching to Sony mirrorless. sad, very sad, because I love my ancient Pentax primes probably more than any other equipment I own.

You can get an adapter to use those on the Sony. I'm running my Lensbabies and a Canon 100-400mm through an adapter just fine...

I loveee my pentax K3, but no full frame for me. I am super excited about them finally having the full frame as it is truly great quality and price.
My primes are my babies.

With the price of the 150-450 that is killing me right now seeing that price as that is the one of 2 lenses I really need/want.
I really super want at the moment but with the 2k price, I have been looking at the Nikon 7200 and the Nikkor 200-500 big boy, for a second body to get my wildlife and nature shooting.

I also have been researching the Tameraon 70-200 pentax for my portrait fun.
I love the fact that all our lenses are mobile and will work on the full frames and other pentax cameras as well

thanks Bear. I was aware of the adapters, but just forgot. nonetheless I do like knowing my way around the Pentax (3 apsc's so far). a lot of this pondering is speculative(!): lately I have been toting the pocket sized Nikon p340, which has some nice tricks, namely the way it does multiple exposures, and a black and white copy setting which is fun; the Ricoh also does multiples nicely. I read somewhere that you have to pay for an app for the Sony to do double exposures?

waiting of course to see the new SupersonicWendy. (I would go for the a6500).

Yeah, but it's a very cheap app. That's the wave of the future anyway, people building apps for cameras like they do now for phones...
