The time change that just recently happened...

I get off work after dark now and sunrise is now FAR too early for my liking. Can we go back to the way it was? At least then, I'd be able to shoot during daylight hours... :/

Learn to shoot at night. Most of my pictures are shot at night as I work till 20:30pm. More fun, less people and very hard to master a good sharp picture when it's dark.

I agree -- we should leave the clocks alone. At the moment, I get to see a nice sunrise on my way to work. However, soon it will be go to work in the dark and come home in the dark. Its depressing.

I must adopt Georges attitude and embrace the darkness. He takes some great night shots.

I don't mind that change in that it doesn't "feel" any different like some people claim. For me it's the inconvenience that comes with the sunrise and sunset time. Driving home in the daylight is easier than driving home in the dark. Sunset photos are more difficult to get because it's harder to get off work in time. The list goes on really. I love night photography and love to learn more when it comes to this but I would at least like the option of shooting in the daylight hours too! Lol.

This is only a problem for those of us who live more than about 20° from the equator ...

That includes Yours Truly, but I wouldn't exactly call it a *problem*, inasmuch as Penny and I both are retired. On the plus side, the light is ALWAYS low, never overhead, so it's interesting all day long assuming the sun comes out, which is a big assumption around here, but so it goes :-) Go have a cuppa coffee and shoot it, is my bright idea. Or three :-)

The saddest day of the year for me is Summer Solstice, when I know the days are getting shorter.

The happiest one is Winter Solstice, when I know they're getting longer.

As much as I'd like to embrace night photography, I don't have the temperament :)

Just legislate two more hours into the day and bingo, no more problems. Also, I think Thursday should be Friday.

Only if we also move Monday to Tuesday ...

ETA: Or, since everything runs on digital clocks now, maybe we can program them to run faster at night and slower during the day, so we can always have 16 "hours" of light.
