I uploaded my shot and whenever I preview it it shows up as a smaller version and is noticeably softer. If I zoom in it get sharp again, but I'm really afraid that what the voters will see is the unsharp smaller version. I have no idea what is going on. I uploaded from my Mac and from my workshop and its happening either way. Can anyone help me.

I look at my images on my cellphone to see what it "really" looks like... with out monitor adjustments, room light, etc.

It looks good on my phone. Maybe my computer is just acting screwy.

It's so weird because when I first preview it for a split second it pops up full size and sharp then it goes to about half size and soft. I really like this shot too. I'm gonna be so bummed if that is how it ends up looking.

it's the browser. it happens to me on chrome. if i use a large monitor with more resolution is fine.

edit: right click on the image and open image in a new tab and see what happens. you should have the option of seeing it full size or reduced to fit the window (by clicking on it)

I'm using Chrome but opening it in a new browser still shows it small. The big question is will people viewing it with Chrome see it that way? Maybe it's a setting in chrome.

did you click on it?

I've used my SC superpowers to preview your image and it is full-size and sharp on my monitor, so I'm sure you are OK.

ETA: I use Chrome

Yes I did. Thanks for the help though. I'm going to quit sweating it. My computer is a little like me, aged and slow, maybe my chrome needs updated.
