I'ts not an uncommon occurrence, but I'm confused. We have a challenge title of "Understatement", but the description seems to suggest that our entry should show something that is "Understated".
I'm now reconsidering my entry.

It says tone down the extravagance for a change of pace. It’s up to us to interpret that and fit the topic of understatement... in minimal.

no minimal on this one -- but it would have been appropriate!

Absolutely, and this describes something that is understated. However, the title is understatement, which is something that is misdescribed, either verbally or in writing. Which of these was the intent?

But when everyone is given the same misdescribed title, then it's open for interpretation? At least that's how I look at it.

Blame this one on me. The intention was "understated", as in "presented or expressed in a subtle and effective way" and the title was just sloppy wording. As has been pointed out, understatement is not the same as the quality of being understated. Weird language, English :-( It's way too late the change the title now, but it will be interesting to see what prevails in the entries and the voting...

With good reason... I'm a wonderful scapebear.
