Post your new toys! I got a new Tamarac travel photo bag large enough to carry my camera, several lenses and my laptop. Now I have to work out so I will be strong enough to carry it!

Congrats! No photo gear here, but my adult nephew is channeling his grandmother these days and he made jams and jellies. I have spiced Asian pear, orange/pomegranate, and concord grape. Good year!!

I picked up a polarizer to fit an old camera for $2 at the thrift store ...

Orange/pomegranate jelly sounds great!

No photo gear, unless you count the Samsung S8+ as an early Xmas present, which we sorta do. I'm having a blast with that thing, it's so liberating!

Almost all of my December pictures were taken with the Samsung S8. I quite like it as well!

Backdrop stand and a travel tripod.

Picked up two rolls of paper for the stand during the boxing week sales.

Looking at the pictures you have been entering its obvious you have been enjoying it but its the photographer not the camera that makes the difference! :)

ETA: Oh, and a new Tamrac Apache 4.2 photo bag from my daughter. Shame on me for forgetting this! So compact, but fits my Olympus mirrorless camera and three lenses perfectly

Olympus 40-150mm f2.8 PRO Lens. I now have too many long focal length lenses and have to decide which goes and which stays. Very stressful. Maybe I'll just keep them all. :)

Last year was a royal bitch and I ended up having to sell A LOT of stuff to keep my head above the water including my Leica SL and most of my M lenses *insert sad noise here* :)

I managed to salvage from the ruins an Olympus PenF and 2 pro lenses 12-40 & 40-150, not quite the same but surprisingly it is a very nice light system and it has enabled me to get out with long zooms again that weigh very little. If things pick up this year I may well invest in the 7-14 pro lens too.

Happy new year and good fortune to everyone

No new photo equipment for me this year.

I did however have the good fortune to meet a very nice lady after the death of my spouse and my daughter really likes her. Her husband, who passed away shortly before my wife did, was a professional photographer and he had equipment plus... much of which I have no idea what it was used for.

I should perhaps make a list, take photos of some of this equipment and find out if anyone might be interested in it.

Here is hoping all of you had a great festive season and that the coming year is filled with health, wealth and happiness.

The very best to all of you.

If you want, I can make you a list of the stuff she has... even has a camera that is something like 6 feet long... for geological mapping photos I think.

My daughter stayed with me up till her mother`s death and is now married to an American and living in a small community not far from Philadelphia.

Will definitely keep in touch as I intend to fully retire this year.

To me that sounds like a candidate for donation to a museum or university ...?
