Other then family occasions and vacations what motivates you to go out?

Do you have favorite places?

How often do you go out?

What do you do with ALL the photos you take?

So far for me just getting back into DP, it's the challenges that are motivating.

I have to admit, since getting my new camera, I'm looking at the world around me with a different set of eyes. It's nice to look at the world around us with alternative perspectives.

Cheers,

Steve

- when I have the energy, combined with the time and inspiration.

Do you have favorite places?

- Yes, I have a variety of ‘go to’ places where I know I will get a successful photo, but more importantly, where I know I can spend a happy few hours at whilst recharging my batteries.

How often do you go out?

- nothing like as often as I would like. My most successful and enjoyable photography trips are without the rest of the family... Realistically, once a month.

What do you do with ALL the photos you take?

- not a great deal.. I often take the photos, upload them and forget them. For me, the pleasure is a. In the taking, and b. In the sharing. I hate the part in between. I occasionally post one to Flickr or Facebook.

I don't really often go out "just to shoot." But I do really enjoy it when I do. Bottom line, right now and for the near future, life is going to keep getting in the way. What does motivate me to get out is when I have a specific project in mind. The challenge, as it were, is identifying projects that I really want to do.
I rarely print. I usually post to my online portfolio, and share with friends and family.

I've been taking pictures all my life. I like the way knowledge of the camera teaches me to see. When digital cameras became available, I bought the first one I could. It was 1 or 2 megapixels. But it was what I'd been born to use. I started using it to sample reality, take the data to my computer, & manipulate it in Photoshop. I shoot so I can postprocess.

I go out as much as I can. Trying to discover new places each time. Taiwan is a small island but there're so many places to visit and explore.
It's extremely busy at work from March till end of June (including the weekends), so most of my pictures I take are in the late evening or night.
Sorry for the many bad entries recently, but I really try to enter at least an image for every challenge.
I shoot around 20.000 pictures a year and never deleted one.
I love manipulating photos and try out new techniques each time. Photography is a door to the world and motivates me to visit places I would never go.

I havent done a great deal of photography in the past year or so, life just became so busy it seemed. But I am on the verge of a little less things I have to do so am hoping this makes way for more time spent with my camera. I like to get out early in the morning generally to the beach and maybe some street stuff. I would love to do more low light/night stuff but being female I dont necessarily feel safe out on my own particularly in isolated places :( I dont do anything with my photos other than enter them in challenges here. I dont share on social media at all and have never printed any..(something I want to change soon) My enjoyment comes from the act of taking the photos I can lose track of time very easily, and I really enjoy playing with them in photoshop.

I don't go out much, seem to be constantly trying to get back into using my camera, I let my membership lag for long stretches but I'm lurking and looking at images often. Eventually a challenge will come along that inspires me to re-up my membership or I go on a trip and take some photos that I like and want to enter. I don't have a lot of free time to go out shooting so it's mostly spur of the moment or when opportunity strikes that I'll use me camera.
