- No editing rules
- No signup necessary
- No minimum, no maximum. Everyone should try this at least once. ;-)
- Post your Godzilla images/edits/creations in this thread
- Only rule is that images posted must have been created this month (June)
- You can use any of my stockpile of isolated Godzilla images from here: Godzilla Source Files or find your own.

I might be the only one participating, but that's fine - although I'll be disappointed if Yo_Spiff and Jedusi don't post a few. :D

edit:
- You can also download the PSD files here (45MB zip) - these are layered with background removed.

Of course I will pitch in! Godzilling other people's images is fair game, right?

Ooooh, I wanna play!

But first I must work :( Once it's all done and sent off I'll see if I can get my monster to behave (or misbehave) long enough.

Maybe I can do something ... I live near the home of Godzilla. (Actually, he answers to the name of °Gojira° mostly.) ;-Þ

Westerners are well known for perverting pronunciations and making them the common form of the word.

This is SO FUNNY - I was just thinking yesterday of sending Art a PM and suggesting this VERY side Challenge.

I'm possibly good for one image - have to find some darn Godzilla somewhere! Can I use just regular dinos?

Ok - just found the stockpiles of them - now I KNOW I can do this!

This is the greatest side challenge ever, except of course if we did a Jet Jaguar side challenge.

Everybody loves opening day at the pool.

BTW, I need someone to tell me how to completely get rid of the green background. I select the color but still get a little green halo. Selection tolerance too low?

What green are you referring to? For the sake of anyone who might be new to layers, this is how I would do it. for this one I would have put zilla on his own layer above the original. Then with the zilla layer selected click on the rectangular icon with a circle in it at the bottom of the layers pallet. That will bring up a white layer mask on your zilla layer. Then click once on the white layer mask to make sure it is selected. Then use a feathered brush with the colour set to black. This will brush out the zilla layer where you use the brush. So you can then lower the opacity of the layer a bit so you can see underneath it, then brush away the area in the original photo you want to show through the godzilla. Then bring the opacity back up when done. The reason for the layer mask instead of just erasing parts of the godzilla is so that if you make a mistake with the brush, you can switch brush colours and put it back in. (it is non destructive)

Tolerance 128 with the magic wand works OK for me...
