Ditto. I got slammed with a 1 followed by someone who gave me a much higher vote. Go figure. This isn't as high as I feel it should be and it dropped quite a bit during voting, but not totally unhappy as it stands right now. Not many votes in this challenge after all.

It just happens that way sometimes. I wouldn't read to much into it. I still think it will pick up once the Free Study is over etc. This week having the Free Study AND the speed challenge of Fireworks added two more challenges than normal. People always gravitate towards the Free Study first because there is more variety to look at subject wise when there is no challenge other than submitting the work of your own interests.

Of course people always take the time to vote in challenges that will be ending first so again the Free Study ends tonight...the Fireworks speed challenge ends tomorrow and then there is a whole day after that to complete voting on the Bits & Pieces challenge.

With all that said...there is also the chance that some people just aren't interested in a certain challenge if they feel most of what they will be seeing is similar and redundant. For instance...if the challenge is Still Life that opens the door for many many subjects. When the challenge is Bits & Pieces similar things might come to the minds of many of the photographers and ends up being less exciting or interesting to the voter. It just happens sometimes. :)

Super Scott. Yep I know...it's a hell of a task actually this voting and commenting and it takes up a massive amount of time what with 5 challenges running and waiting to be voted on. And in between one still has to work and find time to photograph for new challenges. I am trying to do the best I can also but it is tough going. Thanks for your efforts.

Yes, voting has been pretty quiet on this challenge, but as others have said.. a lot of other ones going on right now. There is still 3.5 days left in voting so I'm sure it will pick up at some point. Oddly enough the number of votes on this challenge was unusually high the first day and a half compared to others. It will even out in the end. :)
