thank you so much Henk-Jan for creating the ribbon race .. :)

like other ppl it has kept me entering when i probably wouldnt have ..
although dpc alone does that for me .. just being here .. it feels a bit like home ..

also .. i cant believe i've come second .. i think there's something screwy going on in the universe .. there are much better photographers who deserve that ribbon more than me .. and not to sound like a dummy .. but i dont understand all the numbers etc here ..

anyway .. thanks so much to everyone for walking this path with me .. xxxx

edit to say .. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE OTHER RIBBON WINNERS AND EVERYONE WHO DID WELL ..
i should have said that earlier .. but i've got my grandson staying and its quite distracting .. ;)

Congratulations to all of the participants!

Kudos to the Top Ten!!

So much talent in this place!

I apologize for not entering as much as usual in 2023.

I was on cruise ships for 170 days. Then, add in the travel time before and after and... well...

I might have an addiction. :D

Anyway, I was pleased to enter the ones I could while only having a cellphone the entire time.

I love the Points Race. I would not have entered even as little as I did, if it weren't for the Points Race!

Thanks bunches, Henk-Jan!

Thank you Henk-Jan for your tireless service to our DPC community! Like Wendy, I am indebted to you and your "unofficial ribbon race" for keeping me going and submitting when I would've slacked off without this extra motivation. Looking forward to the 2024 race!

"Broken III" also counts for 2023, so the new season will start with Lighting V

Ha, ha. I agree that it is more "DPC like", but the more than 10 year old code has become unmaintainable (my guess is that is also the case with the current DPC code). Will the beta-version of DPC ever become a production version? In this modern world DPC looks like a very outdated site (talking about the layout, not the content)

I think we're actually quite cool now. In a retro way we're unique and stand out in a positive way.

Thanks for mentioning. Seems to be an expired SSL-certificate. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to fix that myself. I'll contact a support department asap.

Support department reacted very fast!! Problem should be solved now
