It's still working fine with me. mind you we are out of the way and probibly forgotten!!!!!

Although I lost it and couldn't reinstall it on my old computer, I installed it okay on my new one, and it still works. A few ads hitched a ride in with it though.

I have PS CC 2017 and Nik is working fine on my system. I have MacBook Pro 15 (mid 2015) with Mac Os Sierra (Latest OS) and I use the plugins very often.

It works for now, but as they are not updating or developing it any more, the likelihood is that it will stop working when Adobe do a big upgrade and that will then be the end of it. That's a real pity.

I'm still using PS CS5. That sounds like a good reason NOT to upgrade. I can't imagine life without Silver Efex.

I'm still using Aperture too, Paul, as my main tool, but took the plunge to try Lightroom (going to take a while to embrace it to be honest!). However, yes, it does still work with cc 2017, so I'm OK for now, but I suspect eventually we'll end up losing it.

I just went to Nik Collection to reinstall on my laptop and noticed the following banner. Don't know how long it's been there, not that long I think, as I was in the Nik site earlier this year when I installed PS cc 2017

This is very frustrating, especially as I actually purchased these tools long, long before Google ever got involved.

I'd been toying with the idea of getting Silver Efex, so this is great news for me! Thanks.

Always wanted this set but could never really justify the money so just looked on jealously at those who had it!

Thank for the heads up, off to play with the new tools!

Thanks for the heads-up on this one. Some very useful tools I already put into use for a project this weekend.

I payed $150 back in February. Just got my entire refund a few days ago. Yipee!

Damnit. I bought this in mid 2015. They could have made this announcement in August. LOL

Sucks that maintenance will be non existent now.

Well, blow that. I really used it all the time. At least I can stop trying to figure out how to fix it.

My understanding yes, it is retiring and was supposed to take effect yesterday as well

My guess is that it signals just that. Google recently announced that it is retiring Picasa as well.
