Happy with the voting at the moment. A quick check on our postal site says that it would cost me $10.47 to get 10 official stamps (with the photo of my entry). Long live email!

Darnsies. I worked for a week on my Stamp entry... and really like it.

this is what I am lacking..see I would never thought to invent a country to enter a challenge and this is a great idea

How to photograph a country in the first place?? Anything related to a nation or country should fit the challenge just fine.
The challenge description is pushing us to pick a country, but IMHO it is almost a free study. Anything can be on a stamp.


i think the intention is that, yes, you can photograph anything, but it SHOULD be representative of a country, and the stamp SHOULD be so designed so as to look like a stamp from that country (e.g. language, monetary designation, etc.).

for example, you could take a photo of wooden shoes and tulips, and then make it into a stamp from The Netherlands worth f10 (no offence to the Dutch, but that is a pretty well known object <--> country association).
