My guess is that her target was more specific because that's what she wanted the challenge to be more about 50's wholesomeness than TV.

I like the idea of the TV show thing, but not the limit of 1950's style....
Expand it to a TV show from the past century |

Show us your best rendition of a 50's style television show.
"Ozzy and Harriet", "Happy Days" (although this is 60's)... "I love Lucy", "Leave it to Beaver", "Father Knows Best"...
Let's make fun of ourselves in a wholesome 50's kind of way.
