That's not nice Don.
... screw it. Let me add some emphasis to "not nice", courtesy of a recent challenge entry -->
... and toss in a LOL just to make it politically correct (or not). Your choice. |

In retrospect, I do recognize the glasses / nose / mustache getup as a common costume item, but hadn't associated it with the Marx Brothers. Laurel & Hardy / Charlie Chaplin - familiar with them (a little). Buster Keaton ... nope. |

Why not? I'd have no idea what to shoot for this challenge (and I didn't). Homework would be required to know the subject. Why do so many assume that the 'Marx Brothers' are widely known? |
Because they are widely known. |
With all due respect Don, I disagree. Maybe 50, 60 years ago? |

I was indeed talking about the Marx Brothers. And in the style of ...... And particular musical bodies of work. Challenge themes ought to be accessible to people of different cultures - without spending hours in research. Some of us have other things to do. |

Here's the skinny, for those addicted to data:
This is a plot of the number of images in voting each week since January, 2002 and the average votes per image, again weekly and over the same timeframe.
ETA: One interesting thing to note, you can see the beginning of monthly free studies starting in January 2007. Those are the monthly spikes.
ETA: Updated image to include legend and axis labels; may have to CTRL+Refresh to see changes.
