Well, small world my love!

I spent all my time up the hill on Portland in the summers.

My Great-Grandfather lived on the rock his whole life, so did my Grandfather born and bred and died there. He was Army and left 'his rock' to go to Africa with my Grandmother for WWII, both Nurses and then he went back and took up the job he had had since he was 12, Marble Stone Mason at the quarry, my grandmother made barrage balloons after coming back and they used to be all over coast down there.

My Uncle was the Gov'ner for all of Dorsets Prison's then took semi-retirement to be Gov'ner of Portland Prison, my cousin is an Officer up there as well now.

Small world! And the best beaches in Dorset!

Oh and my Dad was born in Coventry and I lived there for a bit too as well as Llandudno (now that is a gorgeous beach!0

Small world!

uhhhhh . . . English is my native language and I struggle with Tiny's comments :)

Well he’s from Wales so he’s at a disadvantage, they usually only communicate in song.

A good memory John but your information is unreal.

You’ve just shattered one of my most dearly held beliefs.

Eekk, I thought you where from up North.

But you have a picture of Dorset, is that Weymouth???

I doubt that not, but you will recover in time.

So because we are still technically in League play, even if most of us will be out of it, the Sun/Mon and Tues/Wed challenges will still be one week challenges?

Correct. And it's possible it may stay that way too, we will be discussing that after DPL is done.

I have the usual language barrier that prevents me from understanding the meaning of the challenge, can someone explain it to me or post some examples? thanks

Whatever your subject, there should be two of them. Here are some old entries of mine which I think would qualify (if they had been Minimal) ...

thanks GeneralE

Funny I was going to suggest something like this, but not minimal, and also why the challenge description, it should’ve just been self explanatory. Hopefully no one will really pay attention to the twist.

Without the description the entries would all be about drinks / drinking (not that some of you wouldn't mind that - evil grin). I'm pleased to see a description for this one - opens it up a bit.

Thought a minimal challenge would be on Thursday and not part of DPL?
