Might be an idea to carry a NSFW badge.. Great images - very powerful & moving - especially the one of the dead kids. To be honest, had to flick past that one. Its a Dad thing.

Living here, I can say that I see some of this... but another part I just see on TV or on the bloody newspapers. They are real, indeed, but I think that bad things happens everywhere, and if you dig it you will find it.

This is almost a fair vision of what a tourist will see in Rio (I wouldn't walk on the beach with the camera like that... sadly this could be an invite to a robbery).

And this is an over positive view (just to balance the pictures of the OP).

Rio is not the Wonderland. But it is wonderful.

I second jotaga. You won't see this other side of Rio if you don't want. And those things are in our whole country in my opinion.
